I Never Thought I'd Want a One of These, Again, But Then, Again, I Never Had One This Nice Before
By George McAdams
OK, so I've reached old age, I'm 64, and I do know that "fanny packs" are rather dated, but I found myself going to the gym to exercise, and I was either having to load my guy shots down so much with keys, cell phone, wallet and bottle of assorted pills that my shorts were either bulging or, worse, yet, falling off, or I was having to leave stuff at home. So, I searched around on Amazon for a "Fanny Pack."
This is a great one. It has a front compartment that's roomy for an iPhone or every one of those bigger Galaxy III phones, a middle compartment that will carry my bulging wallet with pictures of all the grandkids, AARP cards, etc., a bottle of pills and my 20 or so keys with two car fobs, and two side compartments where the strap comes that will hold some ear buds, and one extra zipped pocket in the front that I haven't found a use for, but I know I will eventually.
When I get to the gym, I just unbuckle it, it will fit up to a 44 or so waist, and I just place it by my machine or at the edge of the exercise room, and go at it.
While this reminds me of the Fanny Pack I had in the 1990's, this one is made of nice bendable leather, with heavy-use zipper, and the two little compartments where the strap attached to the pack are tapered so that it actually looks rather stylish, not like those bulky fanny packs from the '90's. The zipper for the main compartment has two tabs, so you can open it from either direction. All this at a price that as inexpensive as what I paid 20 years ago.
I just wish I had thought about getting this two years ago when I first retired.

Supple leather bag with pocket perfectly sized for iphone 6.
This is a nice versatile pack with a pocket in the back that sits next to your body that is inconspicuous and would be perfect for tucking some folfing money or a credit card. A large main compartment lined with fabric which is fine for a digital camera, wallet or even a small firearm. Forward of that is a pocket that will accomodate an iphone 6 with case. There is a zip pocket on top of that and also 2 coin pockets on the sides to which the straps attach. the main compartment is separated from the back pocket and the "iphone" pocket by thin fabric that would not withstand rough handling or sharp edges. The part that sits next to your body is synthetic but the rest is supple leather that feels like lambskon. Made in India. Overall a nice pack for the money with the main weakness being the thin liner. I would purchase again.

Perfect for me
This little fanny pack is exactly what I was looking for. It's not too deep and it has 6! zippered compartments. They are just large enough for me to tuck things away that usually get lost in my purse. It is a great way to carry my iPhone 6s plus separate from my purse and easy to access. Also I have easy access to the headphones I like to use with the phone. The leather is of thin quality and I knew at this great price I would not be seeing the thick luxury leather. AND more important for me, the thin leather keeps it lightweight. I'm totally please with this purchase.
