5Works Perfectly for What I Needed
    By tl
These tags are exactly what I wanted, perhaps for a somewhat unorthodox use. I have a couple of pins that I previously fastened to my range bag, but when I recently upgraded my bag the pins would not go through the heavier material. However, the pins work just fine on this gear tag, which easily loops through a metal fastener on the bag; relatively permanent, removable, but unlikely to fall off from normal handling. The bright color is distinctive, and though I'd never check this bag as luggage, it does help easily identify my bag if there are several in close proximity.

3OK-not easily embroiedered but good quality though you have to use a pen to mark your name on them
    By Technocat
Love these so much but they really can not be embroidered. 1) costs way too much! 2) would go through to the other side I just used a permanent fabric marker. Looks ok but not great. The quality is very good but practically not sure that these work out. Also, they are not so much grey as a shade of military olive green/grey.

3Good for visibility but not for personalization
    By Wine Lover
It's yellow. It's visible. It could survive an earthquake. But writing your name and number on it with a Sharpie isn't easy -- ink bleeds, following the weave of the material, and doesn't come out clear. You can make it work but it's really not great for writing on.
