Good Quality, Roomy Rollerbrief is Very Functional
From the picture, I was not expecting a bag as large as this one is, nor did I expect it to look as much like plastic as it does, though I was aware that it was polyvinyl chloride. The picture doesn't show the extent of how much it looks like polyvinyl chloride. However, that said, I was not out to make a fashion statement with this rollerbrief; I was looking to make like a little easier for myself as I transport my papers back and forth to home and work, and a carrying case has been getting to be a bit much as I'm a young almost 70 year old with no intentions of retiring anytime soon. There is a LOT of space in this brief and the front compartment is very nice to have there for special papers that need to be kept separate. It would have been nice to have a separate compartment inside the case as well, but this can easily be dealt with. As you can tell from the picture, the brief has two handles with which to carry the brief if you wish. I would have preferred a shoulder strap to carry it up stairs, but I shall simply roll it up the steps. I would say that this case is lightweight when compared to the ones I saw in the stores. I would not use this, as some people might, as an overnight bag, or as a carry-on for an airplane trip, and it's a bit limited because it will carry only a 15" computer, so that let's out my computer. However, that's not why I bought it even though for a 15" computer, it would make a great carrying case with a lot of padding and protection. The extending handle can be neatly zipped out of sight into it's own covered compartment, and what I really like about it is that it will extend to several different lengths so people of different heights can easily use it, knowing that it will stay put at the length to which you pull it out without slipping. I do recommend this rollerbrief with the caveat that the purchaser knows it is going to look like the polyvinyl chloride that it is, and that it is functional more than fahionable. Unless you know someone would love the looks of a case such as this, don't give it as a gift. But if you know someone will appreciate its roominess, and isn't looking to use it for a computer that's more than 15", then it might do well as a gift. It may be $149.99, but frankly, it doesn't look it - it looks like much less.
