Best boot bag
By Cynthia Van Brunt
This boot bag is exceptional! I have the traditional Athlon boot bag (which has been great) but my family and I like the design of this one so much better. First off, it is better ergonomically. Since it has more of a straight rectangular shape, you don't feel like you are going to tip backwards. Additionally, since it runs flat and not triangular, it is easier to maneuver around with. As for capacity, it is great! We fit my son's snowboard boots ( size 11.5 mens) as well as another pair of ski boots (size 10.5) in the bag at the same time. There are separate compartments for each pair of boots. The other way we utilized the bag this season was to simply put one pair of boots in the back compartment and the clothes, helmet, etc...in the front. I really feel like this one has a more streamlined design than the traditional triangle boot bags and has the capacity to fit more. I would definitely recommend this bag.

It's a ski gear bag! It's a carryon bag! It's pretty neat.
This bag has room for everything, and it's definitely easier hiking back to the car with fewer items to juggle. I'd prefer the space organized a bit differently - ideal would be side pockets for the boots with side entry zippers, and a center space deep enough for helmet, goggles, gloves and gear and lunch. The volume is there (unlike the more triangular bags which have so much less total capacity) but this bag is organized around flat layers. That leaves a boot section which is uniquely versatile - can hold three pairs of shoes or shoes and boots, or ski boots - but awkward to load. And the cargo section is nice and large, but it too is kind of flat, so my helmet's ear flaps get squashed a bit and lunch has to be compacted.
If you want to use your boot pack as a carryon or checked bag with non-ski cargo, this one has the flexibility and size to do that very well. Sturdy, strong stitching, well-placed handles and straps, a pleasing overall look. As a dedicated ski gear bag, its internal layout is a little clumsy. For me, that's a fine tradeoff; I will be using my bag both ways.

Awesome and Versatile Bag
I bought this bag for skiing, and carrying ski boots, but I can already see tons of uses for it. I love the 4 way carry system. It has functional pockets, and is well made. It fits my men's 28.5 ski boots, helmet, goggles, hat, mask, gloves, and more.
If I think about, there are only 2 things that bug me.
1. My boots barely fit in the compartment, and the boot separators don't really work well with my boots. Now, my boots are bigger than most, but if you are a guy with big feet (size 30+), you may not fit them in here. The boot separators also are stitched in place, and don't fit right with my boots.
2. This bag will NOT qualify for a carry on bag on most airlines. I really wanted a carry on sized bag, but settled on this one due to features and price. I am glad I got this bag, but I hate checking expensive equipment.
