Colour is super easy to identify on luggage carousels
Functional, lightweight, and, unlike Heys, actually within the dimension restrictions for carry-ons where I typically travel. If you do check it, it's super easy to spot when waiting for your luggage after your flight.
The case is slightly springy when pushed so I expect it will be more resilient to cracking than harder cases. The surface texture helps to hide scuffs, but the material isn't as resistant as I would like it to be. The luggage handle material feels cheap but it also seems sturdy enough to get the job done, so I can't complain. The wheels are great so far, no sticking or collecting of gunk on pavements. I don't expect it would be fantastic on cobble or other uneven surfaces as the clearance is low, but that's not really the point of a carry-on spinner, is it? I would've liked to have a waterproof section in the interior as well, but since this is a carry-on size I've got no problems making due with a loose watertight bag.

Really Great Customer Service
By Joe Weicher
It's a terrific item, for all the reasons noted, but what I'd like prospective purchasers to know is this: Randa (Nautica) customer service was (is) incredible. Rather quickly, a problem developed with the telescoping trolley handle. Assuming that the warranty was narrowly drawn, and that I would have to somehow return the luggage itself to submit a claim, I almost didn't bother to check. I visited the Randa website and learned that all I needed to do was upload a photo of the problem along with the receipt; I received a brand new replacement in less than ten days.

good bag, iffy zipper
By Thomas Lightle
I have had this suitcase for about four months now and have taken it on trips throughout the United States and into Canada. The shell is durable and can take the bumps and bruises provided by the airline baggage handlers. The interior is well divided and provides just enough pockets and straps to help you organize your packing. My main concern lies with zipper. I have popped the zipper trying to stuff too many clothes into the suitcase. It just does not seem as heavy duty as I am seeing on the other brands and styles of suitcases. It never popped open in transit mind you, but it is something that I am concerned about to the point that I bought a strap to keep around it while in transit just in case the zipper does fail. I will update if I do ever encounter a failure while traveling.
