Heavy duty, comfortable pack! Great for students with large class load!
By Alaina Lepper
Great heavy duty, sturdy backpack! I'm a nursing student and it holds my 17 in.laptop in the protective sleeve (which is well padded), as well as several notebooks, and 2 1600+ page text books, with room to spare! The pen/pencil pocket is somewhat small but does what it needs to, with a deeper zipper pocket in the same pocket. The insulated pocket works well, but when the pack is full, there isn't much room. The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable and the chest strap helps when carrying a full load! Great pack all around, see the pics for a general idea of the size!

Terrific Backpack..FYI, the 33-liter IS the regular size backpack.
My son loves it....FYI the 33-liter is the 'regular' size backpack that the middle schooler, teens and adults primarily seem to carry; I say this because when we ordered online, I couldn't grasp what a 'large 33-liter backpack' was but ordered it anyway.
This backpack is a nice quality. The front pocket is an expandable cooler that would fit a sandwich, drink and fruit. There are outside mesh pockets for the water bottles and a top zipper pocket that is felt lined for sunglasses. There is enough room for books and a laptop.

Bigges Backpack That Dakine Has! But I love it!
I really like this backpack since I'm in college and I tend to carry a lot of stuff with me around campus. I needed a bigger backpack than the Dakine Prom, which was just too small for my needs. I literally had that backpack over stuffed with items, however, with the Campus, EVERYTHING FITS! I even have room to spare. (^.^) I usually carry five big notebooks, my laptop, snacks, and two huge pencils cases. Maybe some text books here and there.
Also, I placed 2 gallon jugs of water in my Dakine, and it felt like nothing was in there. Dakine really knows how to distribute the weight.
Chest strap? I'm sure if I'm using it right, I'm prolly not since I haven't had time to adjust it for my needs. But if you're a girl, depending on your height, it will push down/up on your boobs. I wouldn't recommend if you have big boobs, but I'll edit this post when I have time to actually sit down and examine the strap!
It doesn't fit a 15'6 laptop, as in, fully cover the laptop, but the backpack is large enough at the top to place the laptop in. I would recommend a laptop sleeve and that was the one of reasons I didn't give it five stars. It will fit a Macbook Pro since those are exactly fifteen inches.
Some threading is coming loose? I'm not sure why this is happening since I've only had the backpack for literally less than 2 weeks or so, but if this continues to happen I'll just contact Dakine for a replacement.
